Will Grove brings extensive litigation experience to the Upstate. Will has helped hundreds of clients with their court cases in both personal injury claims as well as an array of criminal allegations ranging from drug charges, to felony driving under the influence, to domestic violence, to murder, and almost everything in between. He has represented clients in dozens of jury trials across municipal and magistrate courts, the court of General Sessions, and the court of Common Pleas. Will started his career in the legal system as a litigation attorney at a personal injury firm in the Charleston area. Later, he began practicing exclusively criminal defense as an assistant public defender in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. After moving to the Upstate in 2015, he continued his work as an assistant public defender in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, ultimately serving as the Deputy Public Defender for Greenville County, a position he held until opening Grove Ozment, LLC. He has been a part of the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers for over a decade and is a former Board Member for the South Carolina Public Defender’s Association.
When he’s not working, you can find Will hiking with his wife and children in western North Carolina, golfing with friends, or cheering on the Tar Heels.
